Internships

I am happy to offer internship opportunities for undergraduate students who would like to learn first-hand about the workings of a District office. Interns have the opportunity to learn about constituent services, interact with constituents, develop research skills, and assist with administrative responsibilities. My internship program is open to college undergraduates, regardless of major.
District office internships are only offered in the Raleigh District Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. While the schedule can be flexible to work around class schedules, preference will be given to interns that are available for at least 12 hours per week. Although the internship is unpaid, the office can generally accommodate requirements for students to receive credit for their experience.

I am now accepting applications for my District Academic Internship. To apply to the DO Internship, please complete the application below and email NC04.Intern@mail.house.gov with your resume, cover letter, and transcript.  Unofficial transcripts are accepted.
