Congressman Murphy is a strong supporter of women’s rights and is proud to cosponsor H.R. 11, the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, and H.R. 377, the Paycheck Fairness Act. Additionally Congressman Murphy fully supports a woman’s right to choose and believes that efforts to curtail this right amount to an unacceptable intrusion by the government into the private lives of its citizens.
