What I hear most often from people is their concern with the basic things – how to put food on the table, job security, how to pay for quality health care, how to ensure their kids have access to education and how to care for parents as they get older.

Put simply, people are concerned about making life work, and they are frustrated that leaders in government just don’t get it. They are frustrated that politicians often seem as if they are more interested in fighting than finding pragmatic solutions.

There is so much more that unites us than divides us, which is why I am committed to being a positive representative for the 10th District. In an effort to uphold my commitment to you to be as accessible as possible, Community Connections is a series of open forums across the Tenth District to meet face-to-face with families and discuss the issues impacting your daily lives.
