Top Immigration Official Admits DHS Cannot Verify Terrorists in Refugee Program

During today’s Senate Judiciary Subcommittee hearing, León Rodríguez, Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), was unable to answer U.S. Sen. David Vitter’s (R-La.) questions on DHS’s refugee resettlement policies and the impacts on national security and the agency’s lack of transparency.
