The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, September 22, 2016.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each until 11:00am.

Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R.5325, the legislative vehicle for the short-term CR. All post-cloture time will expire at 11:00am, and if the motion to proceed is agreed to (expected voice vote) Senator McConnell will be recognized to offer a substitute amendment.
