U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) urged the Federal Communications Commission to publicly release its revised proposal for new regulation of pay-TV set-top boxes by issuing a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM).
The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation today approved five bills, including the NASA Transition Authorization Act which advances deep space exploration, the journey to Mars and the International Space Station for fiscal year 2017.
“As we move closer to a future of automated vehicles, regulators will need to oversee advancements in safety technology without hampering innovation,” said Thune.

Taxpayers footed the bill,” which identified the official as Stefan Selig, the former undersecretary for international trade.

The lawmakers introduced the Stop Online Booking Scams Act that protects consumers from illegitimate third party websites that trick consumers into thinking they are making reservations directly with hotels.
