Describing himself as the "Google" or search engine for federal grants. Mike Nichola gave our members valuable information about how to apply for and win federal grants. Mike is the Grants Coordinator in the office of Alan Grayson, our U.S. Representative for Florida's 9th District.
One of the goals of Representative Grayson's office is to bring federal dollars back into our area. To help in doing that, Mike is proactively reaching out to grant professionals and their agencies, offering his help in identifying federal funding sources and in creating winning grant applications.
One of the essential services provided by his office is a letter of support for grant applications. Another valuable tool is the federal grants notification system. For more information go to: www.grayson.house.gov and look for the dropdown menu under "Serving You."
Mike is glad to serve as a liaison with federal granting agencies. He provides one-on-one advice to grantwriters and answers to their questions about what funding agencies are looking for.
