Grayson seeks federal money for district — and higher wages
More broadly, Grayson wants to cut poverty rates locally by increasing benefits for workers nationally. He already has introduced legislation that would raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.50 an hour, and he wants tipped workers — who make less — to get an increase, too.
