Kissimmee airport spared from FAA cuts
 

Shortly after the FAA compiled its list of airport towers it tentatively planned to stop funding in early March, Congressman Alan Grayson (D-Orlando) took up the cause for Kissimmee’s airport. He made an appearance on March 8 and came out against the sequester cuts, noting that three million jobs could be potentially lost nationwide if the cuts were to go into effect.
