Thank you for your interest in the 58th Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2017. The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) plans and executes all Inaugural activities at the United States Capitol, including the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony of the President and Vice President of the United States and the traditional Inaugural luncheon that follows.

Each Member of Congress receives a limited number of tickets to the swearing-in ceremony to distribute to constituents. While we do not yet know how many tickets we will receive, we anticipate that demand for the tickets will far outstrip our supply.

In an effort to afford the greatest number of Virginians an opportunity to participate in the Inauguration, we plan to hold a random lottery through which we will award a limited number of tickets to each person selected through this process.

All applicants must:

• be Virginia residents (non-Virginians should contact their home state Senators and Representatives);
• request no more than 4 tickets; and
• submit complete contact information on the form provided.

If you are selected to receive tickets, you will be required to pick up the tickets in our Washington, DC office in person prior to the ceremony. These tickets are free to the public and not intended for sale. We reserve the right to refuse tickets to anyone determined to be selling them.

Please be aware that not all who request tickets will receive them, but we will be in touch with everyone who places a request.

NOTE: If you contacted our office regarding tickets to the inaugural parade or the official inaugural balls, those events are being handled by the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC). The PIC has not yet set up an official website. We will add this information when the website goes live.
