MILLSBORO, Del. — On Monday, Congressman John Carney (D-DE) visited the M&T Bank Millsboro Operations Center.  The facility is home to more than 500 M&T employees, making it one of the largest employers in Sussex County.  M&T also announced an expansion of its IT Department in Millsboro, which will soon be hiring for ten additional positions.

“I appreciate Nick and his colleagues taking the time to show me around the Millsboro facility,” said Congressman Carney.  “It was very clear that Millsboro is a critical part of M&T’s operations, and that Delawareans are at the core of their efforts to serve customers and support communities.  I welcome the 10 new IT employees who will be hired soon, and look forward to more job growth in the future.”

“We are committed to Delaware and are continuing to grow our presence here,” said Nick Lambrow, President of M&T Bank’s Delaware Region. “As one of the leading employers in the state, we are also actively engaged in the community, through our employee involvement and charitable giving.”
