Delaware’s Congressional Delegation will host a free grant workshop in Dover today.

In order to help Delawareans better understand the process for finding and securing grant opportunities, Delaware Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons, along with Congressman John Carney will host a Grant Workshop and Fair today from 9:30 to 1:30. The event will take place at the MLK Student Center on the campus of Delaware State University in Dover.

More than a dozen funders from state and federal governments, private foundations and non-profit agencies will be in attendance. Free workshops will also be offered throughout the day focusing on grant writing, the role of the federal delegation in the grant process and the best practices for securing funding.
