Ellmers Announces Second District Military Academy Appointees

Click here to view photos from the Military Academy Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (R-NC-02) announced the students from North Carolina’s Second Congressional District who were appointed to attend a U.S. Military Academy. “I am grateful for the opportunity to represent such bright and determined young men and women who have such a passion for serving our country. I know these 14 students will represent our state with great honor and distinction, and I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.” The following students were accepted for appointments to U.S. Military Academies after receiving an official nomination from Congresswoman Ellmers earlier this year. Additionally, these students and their families were honored in Dunn at a special reception hosted by the Congresswoman on Saturday, June 20, 2015:

Congresswoman Renee Ellmers serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and is Chairwoman of the Republican Women’s Policy Committee. She represents the Second District of North Carolina which includes all of Fort Bragg.
