Congressional Art Competition

Every year, high school students around the country compete for a chance to win a $12,000 scholarship and have their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol. Since 1982, more than 650,000 students have taken part of this exciting opportunity.

Contest Rules:
All entries must meet the following requirements:

  • Be two dimensional
  • Be no larger than 28” x 28” x 4” thick when framed
  • Be no heavier than 15 lbs. when framed
  • Be original in concept, design, and execution, and may not violate any U.S. copyright laws
