Congressional Art Competition
Every year, high school students around the country compete for a chance to win a $12,000 scholarship and have their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol. Since 1982, more than 650,000 students have taken part of this exciting opportunity.

Contest Rules:
All entries must meet the following requirements:
- Be two dimensional
- Be no larger than 28” x 28” x 4” thick when framed
- Be no heavier than 15 lbs. when framed
- Be original in concept, design, and execution, and may not violate any U.S. copyright laws
How to Enter
The 2016 Competition has closed. Congratulations to Mya Concepcion! Students interested in participating in 2017 should:
- Fill out a Student Release Form
- Check back in January for information on when submissions open.
