Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion or language. Human rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible, and we are all equally entitled to them without discrimination.
On 21 December 2010, the UN General Assembly passed resolution 65/209 welcoming the adoption of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance and declaring 30 August the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances.
The U.N. General Assembly declared Nov.2 as International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalist. The resolution passed condemns all attacks and violence against journalists and media workers. It promotes the safeguard and accountability to all journalists.
