National Security

The federal government’s first duty is to protect and defend the United States of America. Our country has the strongest and most dedicated military in the world. As we confront our nation’s economic challenges, we cannot divert our attention from keeping America safe and providing our men and women in uniform with the tools and resources needed to carry out that mission. As a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, I look forward to working with our commander-in-chief and intelligence community to strengthen our national security and stop terrorists before they harm Americans.
