Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05) held an event at which he honored 18 of the 35 young men and women that he nominated to our nation's service academies. After recognizing the attending nominees, Congressman Lamborn proceeded to accompany the nominees on a tour of the C130 aircraft by crew members at Peterson AFB. Col. John Raymond and Col. John Muscatell joined the Congressman at the event to recognize the extraordinary hard work and dedication these nominees have demonstrated to merit this honor.

"The young men and women, whom I have had the to pleasure to nominate, have demonstrated a remarkable level of talent and a deep commitment to our country. I take great pride in nominating them to our service academies and recognizing them here today. As we stand here at Peterson AFB before this amazing C130 aircraft, we are reminded of our servicemen and women in our military today, fighting for freedom.
