New ICE Office to be located in Fremont County

Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05) issued the following statement regarding plans for a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office near Florence.
"I am pleased that my constituents will be getting increased service and protection from a second ICE office in the Fifth Congressional District. Illegal immigration continues to strain our federal and local resources. It is vital that we step up enforcement of our immigration laws. I believe this new facility is an important move in that direction.

The office is scheduled for occupancy next spring and will be located on eight acres of land near the Fremont County Airport near Florence. The General Services Administration closed on the land this past Wednesday.
This new office marks another victory for combating illegal immigration in Colorado's Fifth Congressional District. Congressman Lamborn remains steadfast in his commitment to ending illegal immigration and is pleased with the aid the ICE offices will give Colorado.
