CONGRESSMAN PITTENGER REMEMBERS UNION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY SGT. JEFF GREENE

WASHINGTON – This morning, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) addressed the U.S. House of Representatives about Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Sergeant Jeff Greene, who died Wednesday morning in a tragic motor vehicle collision in Monroe, NC.

“Sergeant Greene was committed to serving his community, both as a law enforcement officer and as an active volunteer, and he will be greatly missed.

“May we honor all like Sergeant Greene, and remember to pray daily for them, these brave men and women, who faithfully work to protect our communities.”

Sergeant Greene was a 10-year veteran of the Union County Sheriff’s Office, a veteran of both the United States Air Force and United States Marines, and a committed family man.  He leaves behind his wife, April, daughters Nicolle and Allison, and five precious grandchildren.
