McAllister Votes For Resolution to Destroy ISIL

WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister (R-Swartz) issued the following statement following House passage of the train and equip resolution to combat ISIL.

“The House just passed a continuing resolution with astrategy to combat ISIL,”said McAllister. “Destroying this barbaric terrorist organization requires a coordinated effort with our allies to annihilate ISIL. 9/11 is a reminder that terrorism does not recognize boundaries. We are the United States and we must stand united to defeat all enemies, both foreign and domestic to protect our citizens and our allies.Now it’s time to keep the leaders of our military in our thoughts and prayers.”  

U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, represents Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District and serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Agriculture.
