McAllister Votes For Job Creation and Access to Affordable Energy

WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister (R-Swartz) issued the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the American Energy Solutions for Lower Cost and More American Jobs Act and the Jobs for America Act.

“Every day, Americans are paying more for energy usage at home. This common sense strategy gives Americans access to affordable energy and protects them from an increase in monthly bills. Embracing our abundance of energy will create more American jobs, lower prices at the pump, and bring us closer to energy independence. We must get Americans back to work and stimulate economic growth. It’s time we lessen the burden on American households and promote pro-growth policies that help businesses and workers succeed.”

U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, represents Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District and serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Agriculture.
