McAllister Congratulates Scalise on Becoming House Majority Whip

WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister (R-Swartz) congratulates U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise on becoming the next House Majority Whip.

McAllister issued the following remarks:

“As a member of the Louisiana delegation, I have had the tremendous honor of working with and getting to know Rep. Steve Scalise. It’s both exciting and beneficial for our state to have someone in leadership who will serve as a champion for our interests and values. Steve has and will continue to make Louisiana proud and I congratulate him on becoming the next House Majority Whip. Louisiana has a powerful seat at the table with Scalise.”

 

U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, represents Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District and serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Agriculture.
