Congressman McAllister Makes New Congressional Hires

WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, is proud to announce five new hires to his congressional staff.

 

Mehgan (Thompson) Perez-Acosta has been hired to be Congressman McAllister’s Washington, D.C. Scheduler. Mehgan is from West Monroe, LA and received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

 

Allen Cambon from Alexandria, VA has been hired as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Correspondent in the Washington, D.C. office. Allen received his Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Louisiana State University.

 

Justin Carlin from Mangham, LA has been hired to serve as the Congressman’s District Deputy Director. Justin served the public for six years in law enforcement and graduated in the 101st class from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, North Delta Regional Training Academy.

 

Danny Neal from Monroe, LA has been hired to serve as the Congressman’s District Deputy Director. Danny is a retired Field Administrator with the Office of Motor Vehicles and is a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School.

 

Vincent Butcher from Monroe, LA has been hired as a Case Worker in the Monroe District Office. Vincent proudly served our country in uniform and is a graduate of Neville High School. He furthered his education at Northeast Louisiana University (University of Louisiana at Monroe), receiving a B.A. in psychology in 1995. He later attained a Bachelors in Religious Education in 2005 and a Masters in Religious Education in 2008 from the United Theological Seminary in Monroe.

 

McAllister said, “I’m very fortunate and thankful to have a full staff on board that is so dedicated to working for the people of the Fifth District. I look forward to working with them all and welcome them to my staff.”

 

U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, represents Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District and serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Agriculture.
