Fort Report: You're Invited - Town Halls and D-Day Presentation

The end of the summer is quickly approaching. Before our focus shifts to getting children back to school and the upcoming Husker football season (Go Big Red!), I would like to invite you to my town hall meetings. This year I will be holding public meetings in Lincoln, Norfolk, Columbus, Fremont, Bellevue, Blair, and Tekamah. See below for details.  I hope you can join me for a wide-ranging, open discussion regarding some of our nation’s most pressing issues.
 
I hope you will also consider coming to a special presentation on the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy. On August 11 and August 12, renowned military historian Timothy Kilvert-Jones will join me in Lincoln, Columbus, and Bellevue. This is an extraordinary opportunity to more deeply understand the valor and sacrifice of our soldiers—those who gave their all when civilization hung in the balance that fateful day during World War II.
