Washington, D.C. – Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05), Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference, released the following statement in remembrance of President Ronald Regan’s 100^th birthday.

"While we wouldn't know it for over 70 years, on February 6, 1911 - 100 years ago today - our nation was blessed with a leader who would do more to keep freedom and opportunity alive in America, and expand both in an often dangerous world, than any other leader of my lifetime - our 40th President, Ronald Wilson Reagan. As someone who's lived the American Dream, I am grateful to President Reagan for all he did to revitalize our economy, preserve American values, and bring the Cold War to a peaceful end. May we never forget his inspiring, courageous, and compassionate leadership."
