  • House passes Nevada lands bills, again, as part of defense spending bill

    Today, a historic package of Northern Nevada lands bills – six introduced by Rep. Mark Amodei (NV-2) and one by Rep. Steven Horsford (NV-4) – passed the House again, this time as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), in a move intended to help the Senate finally bring the legislation up for a vote in the waning days of the 113th Congress.

  • House Passes Amodei Nevada Native Nations Lands Act

    Monday December 01, 2014
    Today, by suspension vote, the U.S. House of Representatives passed Congressman Mark Amodei's (NV-2) H.R. 2455, the Nevada Native Nations Lands Act, which includes six tribal lands measures, as well as a smaller conveyance to the City of Elko.
