U.S. Capitol Dome Restoration Project Media Availability

November 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. The Architect of the Capitol will conduct a briefing for media on the completion of the scaffolding and the start of repairs for the U.S. Capitol Dome Restoration Project. The event is open to credentialed media from the House and Senate Media Galleries. Media must RSVP to their respective galleries.

Meeting point for escort to event is outside Capitol SB-16. TV should arrive by 9:30 a.m. Other media should assemble at 10:30 a.m. The last escort to event departs at 10:45 a.m. - no access will be provided after this time.
