Habitat restoration often begins with the removal of exotic invasive vegetation, which can yield an abundance of material: paper and fabric fibers, pigments, lumber, chemicals, fuel and food. Patterson Clark, artist and writer, will document the processes he uses to turn local invasive weeds into inks, printing blocks and sheets of paper, which reunite at the letterpress to yield prints. Raw and refined materials will be available for a hands-on display.
