H.AMDT.801 to H.R.2448 Amendment sought to eliminate language that requires property owners to provide information on radon hazards to prospective buyers or renters, to disclose the results of any known radon tests, and to include in sales contracts a radon warning statement and buyer acknowledgement that the prospective buyer was given an opportunity to test the property for radon. It would have instead required the EPA to develop a program to disseminate radon informational pamphlets in high radon areas.
