AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment reduces the amount authorized for overseas operations and maintenance costs by $580 million, and reallocates those funds for the operation of military facilities inside the United States.
AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment to require that overseas operations and maintenance funding be reduced by $580 million in FY 1994 to reflect anticipated overseas force reductions of 40% by FY 1996.
