AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment originally sought to increase the authorization for the Emergency Immigrant Education Program for fiscal year 1995 from $40 million to $100 million. \ As amended by the Goodling amendment (A029), the authorization for the above program was increased to $75 million.
AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment to increase the authorization in the bill for emergency immigrant education from $40 million to $100 million.
