Academy Nominations

Each member of Congress, either in the House of Representatives or the Senate, is allowed a total of five appointees in each service academy. For each vacancy, Rep. Lujan is allowed to nominate ten individuals. Learn more about the Service Academy Nomination process.

Digital TV

On June 12, 2009, all full-power broadcast television stations in the United States stopped broadcasting on analog airwaves and began broadcasting only in digital. If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if you feel you have been treated unfairly, Rep. Flying a Flag Over the Capitol

Purchase a U.S. flag through our office. There is no limit on the number of flags you may order. You may also request that your new flag be flown over the Capitol. Flags may be flown for a particular person, event, or organization, and may be flown on a specific date. A certificate of recognition is included with each flag.

Page Program

High school juniors are eligible work as Pages in the U.S. House of Representatives for a fall or spring. There is no GPA requirement for Pages who work during the summer semester. While serving the House, Pages live in Washington D.C., at the Page Residence Hall, a few blocks away from the Capitol. During the academic year, Pages attend classes at the House Page School. Transportation Project Requests

Rep. Lujan regularly speaks with constituents, state officials and local officials about the needs in their communities. Through these conversations, he has identified worthy projects for possible inclusion the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), which Congress will consider for reauthorization this year. New Mexico New Mexico is holding huge amounts of unclaimed property. Is some of it yours? Common forms of unclaimed property include savings or checking accounts, stocks, uncashed dividends or payroll checks, refunds, traveler's checks, trust distributions, insurance payments or refunds and life insurance policies, annuities, certificates of deposit, customer overpayments, utility security deposits, mineral royalty payments, and contents of safe deposit boxes.
