Maloney condemns murder of three kidnapped Israeli teens

NEW YORK – Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney today released the following statement regarding the murder of z"l Naftali Fraenkel, Gilad Shaar and Eyal Yifrah:

“Today we all join Israelis in mourning the deaths of Naftali Fraenkel, Gilad Shaar and Eyal Yifrah. Their deaths are a terrible reminder of the savage cruelty of terrorism. While we all hoped and prayed for their safe return, their deaths underscore the urgency with which we long for peace. Once again parents will return home without their sons; once again hope is replaced with sorrow; and once again a nation must mourn the senseless deaths of young men cut down too soon. I condemn the actions of the murderers in the strongest possible terms, and I am appalled by those who have celebrated their kidnapping and death.”
