ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY
Open daily. April-September, 8am-7pm; October-March, 8am-5pm. See the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Custis-Lee Mansion, and the graves of Presidents John F. Kennedy and William Howard Taft. Changing of the Guard every hour on the hour and every half hour in the summer. Admission is free. (877) 907-8585

BOTANIC GARDEN CONSERVATORY
Located at the foot of the U.S. Capitol along First Street, SW, between Maryland Avenue and C Street. Open daily. Conservatory and National Garden 10am-5pm; Bartholdi Park dawn to dusk. Admission is free. (202) 225-8333.

BUREAU OF ENGRAVING AND PRINTING
Located at 14th and C Streets, SW. Open Monday-Friday. Closed on federal holidays. Tickets are same day only and available on a first-come first-served basis. March 9am-10:45am, 12:30pm-2pm, April-August 9am-10:45am, 12:30-3:45pm, 5pm-7pm. Admission is free. (877) 874-2330.

CORCORAN GALLERY OF ART
Located at the intersection of 17th Street and New York Avenue, N.W. Open 10am-5pm Wednesday-Saturday. Extended hours Thursday evenings until 9pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Adults $10; Seniors and Students $8.00; Members and Children under 12 are free. (202) 639-1700

FORD’S THEATRE
Located at 511 Tenth Street, NW. Open daily: museum 9am-4pm; theater 9am-5pm; Petersen House 9am-5:30pm. Ford’s Theatre is an active stage and closes for matinees and rehearsals. Admission is $2.50. (202) 347-4833.

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM
Located near the National Mall, just south of Independence Avenue, SW, between 14th Street and Raoul Wallenberg Place. March-August, 10am-4pm. September-February 10am-5:30pm. Timed passes are necessary for visiting the Permanent Exhibition and can be obtained at the museum on the day of your visit. Closed on Yom Kippur and Christmas. Admission is free. (202) 488-0400.

JEFFERSON MEMORIAL
Located on the south bank of the Tidal Basin. Open 24 hours a day. Rangers are on duty to answer questions from 9:30am-11:30pm. Admission is free. (202) 426-6841.

JOHN F. KENNDEY CENTER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
Located at New Hampshire Avenue, NW, and Rock Creek Parkway. Open daily. Tours are given Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-1pm. Admission is free. (202) 416-8340.

KOREAN VETERANS MEMORIAL

LIBRARY OF CONGRESS
Open Monday-Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm; Tours are conducted in the Great Hall: 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm (except Saturday). Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Admission is free. (202) 707-5000.

MOUNT VERNON

NATIONAL AQUARIUM

NATIONAL ZOO

NEWSEUM
Located at Pennsylvania Avenue and Sixth Street, NW. Open daily 9am-5pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Adults (19 to 64) $21.95; Seniors (65+), Military and Students with ID: $17.95 plus tax; Children (7 to 18): $12.95; Children under 6 are free. (888) NEWSEUM.

PENTAGON
Tours of the Pentagon are available to schools, educational organizations and other select groups by reservation only. Tours are conducted Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. Closed on federal holidays. Admission is free. 

SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION
The Museums are open daily from 10am-5:30pm unless otherwise noted. Closed on Christmas Day. Admission is free. (202) 633-1000.

STATE DEPARTMENT
The Diplomatic Reception Rooms of the Department of State are open for pre-arranged tours at no charge. This is a fine arts tour and not recommended for children under 12. Guided tours are conducted Monday-Friday at 9:30am, 10:30am and 2:45pm. Reservations are required and should be made approximately 90 days in advance. (202) 647-3241.

SUPREME COURT
Located at One 1st Street, across from the Capitol. The building is open Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm. Lectures in the Courtroom are given every hour on the half-hour, on days that the Court is not sitting, from 9:30am-3:30pm. Closed federal holidays. (202) 479-3000.

U.S. CAPITOL AND VISITOR CENTER
The Capitol Visitor Center is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and conducts public tours of the Capitol from 8:50am to 3:20pm. Tickets are not required to visit the Capitol Visitor Center but are required to tour the U.S. Capitol building. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Inauguration Day. Admission is free. Tickets may be obtained by visiting. (202) 226-8000.

Congressional Tours are also available Monday-Friday except federal holidays. Please call Rep. Hall’s Rockwall office at (972) 771-9118 to schedule a staff-lead tour of the U.S. Capitol building and to obtain gallery passes for the House of Representatives and Senate.

VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL
Located in West Potomac Park. Open 24 hours a day. Rangers are on duty to answer questions from 9:30am-11:30pm. Admission is free. (202) 426-6841.

WASHINGTON MONUMENT
Admission is free but tickets are required. Open daily. Same day tickets are distributed at the Washington Monument Lodge on 15th Street. The Washington Monument Lodge opens at 8:30am for ticket distribution. Advanced reservations can be made by calling (877) 444-6777 or by visiting the website. There is a $1.50 service charge per ticket when reserved in advance. Closed July 4 and Christmas. 

* Closed for repairs until 2014.

THE WHITE HOUSE
Requests must be submitted through one's Member of Congress. Self-guided tours are conducted Tuesday-Thursday 7:30am-11am; Friday 7:30am-12pm; Saturday 7:30am-1pm. Closed Sundays, Mondays, and federal holidays. Requests are accepted up to six months in advance and no later than 21 days in advance and are accommodated on a first-come first-served basis. We encourage you to submit your request as early as possible due to limited number of available spaces. Admission is free but a background checked is required. Please note that White House tours may be subject to last minute cancellation. To request a tour, please call Rep. Hall’s Rockwall office at (972) 771-9118 or complete the Tour Request Form.

* White House Tours will be reopened beginning November 5th. Effective March 9, 2013, tours have been closed due to staffing reductions resulting from sequestration, which the President signed into law.

WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL
