Appleton, WI—Representative Reid Ribble will host an Agricultural Summit & Expo on Friday, February 22. Joining Congressman Ribble will be Wisconsin’s Agriculture Secretary Ben Brancel who will discuss current and upcoming policies and help answer questions about their impact on Wisconsin. There will also be a presentation by USDA Farm Service Agency Director Brad Pfaff, followed by a panel discussion on Next Generation Farms, which will focus on ways to educate and prepare young people for careers in agriculture. In addition to the summit, there will be an expo featuring vendors, organizations and institutions that support Wisconsin’s agricultural industry.

“Agriculture is an integral part of our economy and will play an important role for the future,” said Ribble. “This summit is a way to keep the lines of communication open between all of the different industries under the agriculture umbrella and make sure that their voices are heard.”
