RIBBLE STATEMENT ON JOBS REPORT

Washington, D.C.– Representative Reid Ribble (WI-08) today released this statement regarding the zero percent job growth in August.

“'Today's jobs report underscores the need for Washington to get back to work in helping solve our nation's jobs crisis. As Congress returns to Washington I'm hopeful that this critical national interest can be put front and center. It’s time to enact legislation that will tackle this problem head on so American businesses can start creating jobs. While I'm excited that the Green Bay Packers are going back to work this week, we need to get the millions of unemployed or underemployed Americans who will watch them on television back to work too.”

Congressman Ribble wrote a Labor Day Op-Ed that was featured in today’s Green Bay Press Gazette. The full article can be found by clicking the link below.
