Full Committee held a markup on H.R. 4587, to impose targeted sanctions on individuals responsible for carrying out or ordering human rights abuses against citizens of Venezuela, and for other purposes; H.R. 4573, to protect children from exploitation, especially sex trafficking in tourism, by providing advance notice of intended travel by registered child-sex offenders outside the United States to the government of the country of destination, requesting foreign governments to notify the United States when a known child-sex offender is seeking to enter the United States, and for other purposes; and H. Res. 573, condemning the abduction of female students by armed militants from the terrorist group known as Boko Haram in northeastern provinces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The bills were ordered reported, as amended.
