Congressional Art Competition

In 1982, Congress established an art competition to showcase the talents of our nation’s young artists. Each spring, thousands of high school students from around the country participate for the opportunity to have their work displayed prominently in the tunnels and walkways of the U.S. Capitol Building.

The competition is open to high school students residing or attending school within the Congressional District 6 boundaries.

Completed artwork must be submitted along with a Student Release Form to the submission location on the submission date. This year's competition is closed. More details will be added to the website in the coming weeks, months.
