Bachmann Enjoys Coffee with Constituents in St. Cloud and Kimball

May 14, 2013

On May 11, I had the opportunity to meet with a number of constituents in both St. Cloud and Kimball. I always look forward to opportunities to visit the warm and inviting people of central Minnesota, and the crowd on Saturday did not disappoint. Thank you to everyone who spent the morning with me at Caribou Coffee and Triple R Grill & Bar.

I was pleased to see Mayor Dave Kleis of St. Cloud, Mayor Joe Perske of Sartell and Al Ringsmuth, the former mayor of Waite Park, in attendance at the St. Cloud event. The crowd was large and welcoming and I am glad I was able to stay longer than expected to meet with everyone in the room. Thank you for sharing with me your comments, concerns and stories regarding the economy, immigration, healthcare, veterans issues and more. I take your concerns to heart and consider them whenever I vote.

It was wonderful to see many new faces at Kimball, as well as City Council member Nate Osmundson and City Clerk Nicole Pilarski. A number of attendees spoke to me separately about their concerns with the economy, the protection of the Second Amendment and government oversight, and how current policies will impact their families and businesses.

My staff and I make constituent services a top priority and my casework officers were on hand to follow up with attendees. If you weren’t able to make these coffee events, please feel free to contact my offices to voice your concerns or seek help with an issue you are facing. I care about this district, and if there is anything my staff or I can do, please don’t hesitate to contact my Anoka office at 763-323-8922.
