Washington, D.C.  Today, the Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee (DSOC) hosted its welcome reception with over 200 guests in attendance, including Chairman Mark Begich (AK), Vice-Chair Jeanne Shaheen (NH), Senator Ben Cardin (MD), and Senator Debbie Stabenow (MI).

“Thank you to everyone who came. A great showing representing a wide array of constituency groups including Labor, Clean Energy, Faith, Women, Veterans, Small Business, Civil Rights, and many more,” said Senator Begich in his remarks to the audience. “You all play an integral role in making sure our voices are heard across the country. You provide us with a unique on-the-ground perspective that has proven to be invaluable as we work together to craft federal policies that touch the lives of millions of Americans.”

During the welcome reception, guests were able to engage and exchange ideas with one another about potential opportunities to work together and learn more about their respective organizations.
