Washington, D.C. Tourism Information

Are you planning a visit to Washington, D.C.? Whether you're coming on a short business trip, or an extended family vacation, my office can help you make arrangements for some of the more popular Federal attractions in our Nation's Capital.

If you are a resident of the 1st Congressional District of Maine who plans to visit Washington, D.C., my office may be able to help you reserve tours to the White House, the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

These tours are an excellent way to see all that the nation's capital has to offer and all of these tours are of no charge to you. Due to the large number of visitors, please request tours as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

Tour hours and ticket availabilities vary throughout the year, so please contact my office at least 3-6 weeks prior to your trip. In particular, tickets to the White House are very limited and we ask that you request those tickets six months in advance in order to increase the likelihood of securing tickets for your requested tour dates.

While you are in Washington, D.C., I encourage you and your family to stop by my office.
