Congressman Holding Joins Google for “North Carolina Get Your Business Online” Event
RALEIGH, N.C. – Today Congressman George Holding (NC-13) announced that Google will host a “North Carolina Get Your Business Online Event” for local businesses on February 21, 2014 at the Royal Banquet Center at 3801 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. There will be two sessions: 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm.
According to Google, over 98% of Americans search online for businesses, but only 58% of small businesses have a website. At the “North Carolina Get Your Business Online” event, Google experts will help North Carolina small business owners to create a website. They will be able to create a business listing on Google, and learn how to register a domain name and customize and publish their website. Through Google’s training and resources, North Carolina small business owners will learn how to optimize their web presence, making them more user-friendly and accessible to consumers.
