WASHINGTON, D.C. –  After House passage of a $1.1 trillion spending bill,  Congressman George Holding released the following statement:

 

“Today, the House has passed a bill that increased spending while doing nothing to address our ballooning national debt. That was a step in the wrong direction. The debt is a problem we must face. Making promises of future spending cuts in exchange for immediate spending increases now is not a solution. “
