Steering Meeting

Washington, D.C. - Enacting policies and initiatives that would further economic growth and job creation in the nation’s$1.9 trillion travel industry, which supports over 14 million jobs, were the priorities of a forum held today with Senate Democrats and CEOs from the nation’s largest travel companies. Senator Mark Begich (D-AK), Chair of the Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee (DSOC), Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Vice-Chair of the DSOC, and Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Chair of the Senate Tourism Caucus, hosted the meeting at the US Capitol.
