Social Security Benefits

My office works directly with the Social Security Administration to resolve issues constituents may have when it comes to:

  • Receiving Social Security benefits or due back pay
  • Asking the appropriate questions of the Social Security Adminstration
  • Monitoring pending cases
  • Making formal congressional inquiries on pending cases in the effort to speed up the administrative processes.

Regardless of the constituent request, there are no guarantees that an outcome received as a result of a congressional inquiry will be a desired one.

My office does not have any decision making authority in the resolution of your case before the Social Security Administration. Therefore, the outcome of your case is determined solely on the decisions made by the Administrative Law Judges of the Social Security Administration.

If you are having trouble receiving your social security benefits, not receiving benefits you feel you are entitled to, or just have an inquiry regarding the Social Security Administration, please feel free to contact my district office in Topeka (785)-234-LYNN (5966) and ask for, or email Brandon Bohning at brandon.bohning@mail.house.gov
