Other Popular Attractions in Washington, D.C.
The following attractions do not require you to request tours through my office
Pentagon
Bureau of Printing and Engraving
Supreme Court
Library of Congress
FBI Education Center
I am pleased to announce that tours of the FBI Education Center are now available through my office. The FBI has made improvements to their tour format, now offering guided tours that last between 1.5 – 2 hours. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore exhibits detailing the FBI’s history, post-9/11 transformation, current operations, and an array of cases the Bureau has investigated over the years. Please note that on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, tours typically include a firearms demonstration. Participants will be made aware of this portion of the tour and may opt out should they choose to do so.
Tours are currently offered Mondays through Thursdays at 9:00am and 10:00am and must be requested through a congressional office. The request must be submitted to the FBI at least one month in advance. To request a tour, please send an email to Kaine_WHTours@kaine.senate.gov including your requested tour date and time, the number of people in your group, and a contact name and phone number.
I am very excited to be able to help in this process and hope that many Virginias will take advantage of this exciting opportunity to experience the FBI’s Education Center.
Due to the sensitive and mature nature of many of the cases depicted in the Education Center, the FBI tour is not recommended for children under 16 years of age. Parents are responsible for determining whether their children should be exposed to these exhibits.
