Washington, DC – June 4, 2014 – Representative Bradley Byrne (AL-1) will hold his 25th town hall meeting since taking office in Lillian, Alabama on Friday, June 6.
Washington, DC – May 30, 2014 – Representative Bradley Byrne (AL-1) will hold Town Hall meetings in Monroeville and Flomaton on Monday, June 2, 2014.
Byrne said: “I am looking forward to traveling to Monroeville and Flomaton to hear from my constituents in Monroe and Escambia Counties. I hope for a robust discussion of the issues that will educate me on how I can be a better voice for our area in Washington.”

Fairhope, AL – May 26, 2014 – Today, Representative Bradley Byrne (AL-1) released the following statement honoring those who have died in the line of duty on Memorial Day.
Byrne said: “America is the first world power in history that seeks not for its own personal gain. Although our cause is noble, the price is sometimes steep. Today we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation’s principles, because we believe as one united nation our cause is worth fighting for.”
Fairhope, AL – May 23, 2014 – Representative Bradley Byrne (AL-1) will hold four Town Hall meetings in Mobile County on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
Byrne said: “With pressing issues like healthcare, the economy, and caring for our veterans at the forefront of our national dialogue, it is important to maintain a direct line of communication with my constituents in Southwest Alabama. I’m continuing to work hard to ensure I am reflecting the views of Southwest Alabamians as our Representative in Washington.”
Washington, DC – May 15, 2014 – Staff members from Congressman Bradley Byrne's office will make stops in every county in Alabama’s First Congressional District from May 20-22, 2014. The purpose of these staff visits is to meet with constituents who may be experiencing difficulties with the federal government and who are seeking the Congressman's assistance in resolving these problems.
Washington, DC – May 7, 2014 – This evening, Representative Bradley Byrne (AL-1) supported passage of two measures aimed at preventing further targeting of conservative organizations through the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Incidents of targeting were first reported last year when the IRS released a letter formally apologizing for targeting tea party groups for extra scrutiny in the 2012 election cycle.

This month, Members of Congress were given an Easter District Work Period of two weeks to travel home and be with their families, but also to spend two weeks hearing directly from their constituents on issues that matter to the future of our country. Every chance I get to spend time at home, I plan a very busy schedule in order to reach as many of my friends and neighbors as possible in Alabama’s First District. These two weeks were no different.
