WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is pleased to announce that Taylor Schettler, of Castle Rock, Colorado, is working as a congressional intern in her Topeka office.
 
“Taylor has been a terrific addition to my Topeka staff,” Jenkins said. “In her short time in the office she has already impressed us with her hard work and intelligence, and I am confident Taylor will serve the folks of Kansas well.”

Schettler is a freshman studying political science and international relations at the University of Kansas.  She was the former Miss Colorado Teen USA 2009. Taylor is the daughter of Tim and Janice Schettler.

“Learning from Congresswoman Jenkins is an incredible opportunity,” Schettler noted. “The Congresswoman is one of my role models and it is my sincere hope to become as great of a woman and a leader as she is. I have learned so much already and I cannot wait to continue interning for her. It’s a great way of serving your community.”
