WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins responded to Attorney General Steve Six’s statement following her request for him to join other state attorney’s in challenging the constitutionality of the Democrat’s health care bill.
 
“I could not agree more with Attorney General Six; the decision to challenge the constitutionality of the Democrat’s health care bill should not be based on politics. This new law appears to be in violation of the U.S. Constitution, and I can think of no greater obligation of our State’s Attorney General than to defend the Constitution. Defending the Constitution is not a Democrat or Republican issue. It is an American issue, and I hope he moves forward on this challenge in a timely manner.”
