Jenkins Kicks Off "Congress to Kansas" Listening Tour

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is pleased to announce the schedule for her upcoming Congress to Kansas listening tour. Continuing her commitment to the folks of Kansas, Congresswoman Jenkins will travel to communities in 25 counties throughout the 2nd District to listen to their concerns and update them on what’s been happening in Congress.

“My commitment from day one has been to represent Kansans in Washington during the week, and then get back as quickly as I can to hear what’s on the minds of Kansans,” Jenkins said. “I have been in Kansas almost every weekend since January and being home this month will let me spend even more time with the good folks of Kansas. Folks are concerned about the out-of-control spending, increasing debt and the rapid expansion of the federal government.  I share their concerns and look forward to listening to them and discussing ideas to turn our nation around.”
